Habersham commissioners finalize denials of staff-flagged conservation-use tax applications

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved the denial of all 2025 Conservation Use Value Assessment applications that appraisal staff had recommended denying, according to the county board’s July 8 meeting minutes. Sonya Turgeon made the motion, John King seconded it, and the board approved the action without opposition, turning the staff recommendations into final board action on the applications before it.
