Habersham’s $2.1 million resurfacing proposal still lacks a recorded final award

Habersham County commissioners considered a proposal on June 19, 2023, to award Allied Paving Contractors Inc. a $2,096,049 contract for patching, leveling and resurfacing 9.96 miles of county roads. More than three years later, the meeting minutes still do not state whether the commission voted to approve the proposal or formally awarded the work.
