Habersham Commission Clears Finance Director to Pursue State ARP Grants

Habersham County commissioners authorized Finance Director Tim Sims, with approval from the interim county manager, to submit applications for Georgia American Rescue Plan grant funding at their Aug. 16, 2021 meeting. The action came ahead of an Aug. 31 application deadline for a state program that could support eligible public-health, revenue-loss, broadband, water and sewer projects.
