Habersham assessors approved homestead list, but clarity on individual outcomes remains unresolved

Habersham County’s Board of Assessors unanimously approved its listing of tax-year 2022 homestead-exemption applications at its Jan. 25, 2023, meeting, completing the board action recorded for the countywide list. Before the vote, members discussed making the document easier to read by adding a notation that would show whether an individual application had been approved or denied.
