Habersham’s UCB Property Tax Appeal Remains Undecided After Commission Delay

Habersham County’s last documented action on a proposed reduction in the tax value of UCB-owned property was to put the matter off. On May 16, 2022, county commissioners voted 4-0 to table Tax Affidavit 2021-15 until their June meeting after concerns were raised about the proposed lower valuation. The county’s meeting minutes record the postponement, but not a later decision on whether UCB’s requested valuation change took effect.
