Habersham’s Proposed $155,021 Washington Street Building Sale Remains Unresolved

Habersham County’s proposed sale of the building at 1387 Washington St. for $155,021 remains without a documented final outcome nearly three years after it appeared on the county’s agenda. An Oct. 30, 2023 agenda proposed accepting the offer, and a Nov. 8 executive summary again recommended acceptance, but neither document records a final county approval, closing or transfer.
