At its September 21 meeting, the Habersham County Board of Commissioners voted 5-0, on a motion by Commissioner Woodall seconded by Commissioner Mealor, to table the appointment to fill the vacancy.
The appointment is listed again on the agenda for the board's October 19 meeting as an at-large appointment to replace Hochmuth.
