Habersham proposal could curb larger home developments on existing county roads

Habersham County was considering a land-development amendment in May 2023 that would restrict new-home projects relying on existing county roads to minor subdivisions of four lots or fewer that front on an existing street. The proposal, identified as AM-23-01, was described in county minutes as a change to the county’s land-development code, but the account does not say that county officials adopted it.
