Habersham airport seeks relief from $12,680 bill after unannounced fuel-software upgrade

Habersham County airport officials said at their Aug. 13, 2024, regular meeting that they would seek a lower charge from World Fuel after a July 9 upgrade to the airport’s Fuel Master software was made without notice. Officials put the bill at $12,680 and said the change triggered software problems that took airport staff and IT personnel several weeks to resolve.
