At an April 2025 meeting, a resident asked the Habersham County Airport Commission to move forward with replacing the illegible airport identification sign at B.C. Grant and Duncan Bridge Roads.
By November 2025, the commission discussed installation of a new sign but reported that no one had been able to reach the vendor by phone or e-mail since an earlier point in the process.
What happened
