Habersham Hangar Upgrade Idea Remains Unapproved More Than Two Years After Discussion

Habersham County’s proposed upgrades to county hangars remain an idea on the public record, not a documented project. At an April 16, 2024 work session, officials discussed bringing in electricians to inspect hangar electrical systems, replacing existing lighting with LED fixtures or bulbs, and providing each hangar with one 110-volt outlet and one 220-volt outlet. As of Aug. 27, 2026, no later record identified here shows that the county approved or carried out that work.
