Habersham Airport Considers New County Role in Hangar-Lease Transfers

Habersham Airport officials used their Jan. 9, 2024 regular meeting to consider tighter rules for hangar ground leases, including written transfer requirements and a possible provision giving Habersham County the first opportunity to purchase when a tenant seeks a transfer. The approved minutes describe the ideas as discussion items; they do not show that new lease language was adopted.
