Habersham airport fixes fuel equipment as gate upgrade remains unfinished

Habersham County Airport staff told the Airport Commission on Oct. 4, 2021, that repairs to the airport’s fuel truck and the Jet A truck’s dead-man switch were complete, restoring two pieces of equipment central to fueling operations. But the airport’s effort to convert the gate’s cellular system from 3G to 4G was still underway, leaving the controlled-access upgrade unfinished at the time of the report.
