Franklin Springs approves builder licensing-documentation rule, but leaves enforcement unclear

Franklin Springs City Council on Feb. 20, 2025, approved a policy requiring builders to provide licensing documentation for homes under construction in the city, extending the requirement to building, electrical, plumbing and other work. The council also said the city would seek a building inspector, according to the council minutes.
