Franklin Springs cuts city property-tax rate to 4.7 mills

Franklin Springs City Council approved a lower city property-tax rate at its July 22, 2024, meeting, setting the millage at 4.7 mills rather than the previous 5.0 mills. Council member Bill Bell made the motion, Josh Walden seconded it, and the motion carried, according to the meeting minutes.
