The story

The Franklin County Planning Commission took up a request to rezone a +/- 2.0-acre tract at 2556 Turkey Creek Rd, Carnesville, from Agricultural (AG) to Rural Residential (RR) on November 20, 2025. The commission approved the rezoning by a 4-0 vote.

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners then considered the same rezoning request, filed by applicant Kenneth Ronald Miller and property owner Richard T Miller, for the 2556 Turkey Creek Rd tract (District 3, Map/Parcel 036/114). On December 1, 2025, the board approved the rezoning from AG to RR by a 5-0 vote.
