The Franklin County Planning Commission took up the request on November 20, 2025 and voted 4-0 to approve it.
The Franklin County Board of Commissioners then considered the same rezoning request, RZ-2025-026, at its December 1, 2025 meeting. The board voted 5-0 to approve the change from Agricultural General to Rural Residential for the tract.
