Franklin County school budget hearings were scheduled, but board records still show no adoption result

Franklin County Board of Education records continued to repeat a 2025 budget-hearing schedule as recently as Aug. 20, 2026, but they still do not document whether the board adopted a budget or what occurred at the hearings. The schedule called for a first public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2025, before a 6 p.m. regular board meeting, and a second hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 before a called meeting at 6 p.m.
