Georgia EPD drafts analysis to argue Macon-area prescribed burns qualify as a rare "exceptional event"

Georgia EPD's Air Protection Branch has proposed an analysis of prescribed burning near Macon as part of an exceptional event demonstration for the PM2.5 air quality standard, a step toward asking that fire-related pollution be excluded from the area's air quality record.
