The story
In April, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners approved a waiver of conflict allowing the law firm Jarrard & Davis to represent both Franklin and Banks counties in drafting the Nowhere Road maintenance agreement, voting 5-0.
By late June, an intergovernmental agreement with Banks County for cross-jurisdictional maintenance of Nowhere Road (also called County Line Road) was on the Franklin County board's work session agenda. Minutes from that session noted Banks County had already approved the agreement and was awaiting Franklin County's approval.
On July 6, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners approved the intergovernmental agreement with Banks County for maintenance of Nowhere Road by a vote of 3-0.
