Iron foundry asks Georgia EPD to cap production at 30,000 tons a year

The facility has requested a production limit of 30,000 tons per year of iron poured, according to a Georgia EPD Air Protection Branch document. The company says the limit would keep its potential emissions below the threshold that triggers PSD major-source permitting, making it a PSD minor source instead.
