Franklin County’s Old Federal Sewer Plan Remains Unsettled After IBA Backs Two Costly Routes

Franklin County’s Industrial Building Authority has narrowed its discussion of sewer service for the Old Federal development tract to two leading routes estimated at $1.9 million and $2.2 million. At its April 3, 2024 meeting, the authority’s director and chairman favored taking those alternatives to the Board of Commissioners, but the minutes do not show that either route was formally chosen or approved.
