Franklin County delays county-attorney choice as commissioners weigh legal-service costs
Franklin County’s Board of Commissioners tabled its county-attorney appointment at a specially called meeting Jan. 12, postponing a decision between Jarrard & Davis, LLC and James Bates Brannan Groover as commissioners sought further discussion of cost and legal experience. The minutes say Commissioner Smith made the motion to table and Commissioner Thompson seconded it.
