Demorest Farmhouse sale proposal remains unresolved after appraisal follow-up

A proposal by Steven and Marilyn to buy the Demorest Farmhouse remains unresolved in the documented public record. At its May 8, 2024 meeting, Demorest’s Downtown Development Authority recorded the proposed purchase and said Wright would speak with the appraiser; as of Aug. 27, 2026, no later authority action, completed sale or appraisal result is recorded here.
