Demorest delays PFSA settlement decision as water testing continues

Demorest City Council put a PFSA-related water-settlement question on hold during its Aug. 6, 2024, work session after Mayor Rick Austin asked for a six-month tabling period while the city continued water testing. The discussion stopped short of a documented decision to join, reject or otherwise act on the settlement.
