At the June 12, 2025 work session, staff said Demorest will receive $45,092.61 through the LMIG Local Road Assistance program, with Mr. Popham and Mr. Musselwhite recommending the funds go toward resurfacing sections of Rhode Island Street, Blue Ridge Avenue and Walnut Avenue.
