Demorest’s proposed Food4Kids lease still lacks a recorded resolution

More than a year after Demorest City Council discussed a request from Food4Kids to lease two closets in the City Hall cafeteria, the proposal still has no recorded resolution in the documented proceeding. At the council’s Feb. 4, 2025 work session, members took up the request as Food4Kids worked to restart its feeding initiative in Habersham County schools. The minutes show discussion and planned lease preparation, not an approval, signed agreement or move-in arrangement.
