Demorest’s planned use of $441,070 in federal relief funds remains undocumented

Demorest officials said at a March 23, 2024 city retreat that $441,070.97 in American Rescue Plan Act money still needed to be identified for use by April 2024 and spent by 2026. More than two years later, the retreat minutes cited for that discussion do not name a project for the money or record a later allocation or expenditure.
