Demorest assigns code enforcement and fire leadership to Dave Scheuerer

Demorest City Council unanimously appointed Dave Scheuerer to serve as both the city’s code enforcement officer and fire chief at its Jan. 7, 2025, meeting. Councilman Bennett made the motion, Councilman Davis seconded it, and the council approved the two assignments 4-0, according to signed meeting minutes.
