At an April 1, 2025 work session, city staff member Mr. Musselwhite presented Demorest City Council with a total cost estimate for remodeling the downtown pavilion, made up of several line items adding up to $30,440.

Later that day, in its regular session, Demorest City Council voted 4-0 to approve the downtown pavilion upgrade at the $30,440 cost presented earlier.
