Demorest weighs City Hall overhaul as costs and police space remain unsettled

Demorest City Council has begun considering a consultant’s concept for using City Hall space more efficiently, bringing the building’s future layout—and the location of the Police Department—into public discussion. Brentt Cody of Blake Rainwater & Associates presented the preliminary plan, while the council identified additional design work and a cost plan as the work still ahead.
