Demorest Council Puts Fire Department Decision on Hold

Demorest City Council unanimously put off a decision on options for the city fire department in 2025, voting 4-0 to table the agenda item. Mayor Harkness called for a motion, Councilman Allen moved to table the matter and Councilman Ferguson seconded it, according to the council minutes.
