Demorest Council Raised Public-Comment Limits but Left Rules Undecided

Demorest City Council members raised the possibility of setting time limits for public comment during their March 23, 2024 retreat, according to the signed retreat minutes. The minutes say meeting rules could set speaking-time limits, require any limit to be publicly posted and be examined further.
