In an April 7 work session, the Demorest City Council discussed a band contract with Stereo Superstar for the July 4th event. Council was asked to authorize the city manager to sign the contract once it was completed.

Later that same day, in its regular session, the council voted 4-0 to authorize the city attorney to draft the band contract and to permit Mr. Musselwhite to execute it.
