Demorest backs plan to turn Brent Lee Memorial Field into dog and children’s park space

Demorest City Council agreed at its April 1, 2025 workshop to a proposal that would convert Brent Lee Memorial Field into designated park space for dogs and children. Councilman Bennett and Mr. Musselwhite presented the idea, and the workshop minutes say Musselwhite reviewed final numbers before the council agreed to the project.
