Demorest council unanimously keeps city manager and clerk in place

Demorest City Council unanimously reappointed Mark Musselwhite as city manager and Megan Chastain as city clerk at its Jan. 7, 2025 meeting, according to the signed council minutes. The council took separate motions on the two positions, and each passed 4-0, keeping both officials in the administrative roles recorded in the annual-appointments item.
