Cornelia’s $20,000 park-amenity proposal still has no recorded purchase

Cornelia’s Dec. 1, 2020 commission minutes identified a proposed $20,000 hotel/motel tax capital-improvement item for new picnic tables and trash cans at the city’s public parks. Nearly six years later, the cited minutes still do not record a commission approval, contract award or completed purchase for the amenities.
