Cornelia’s Lake Tallulah water-source proposal remains unresolved nearly two years after agenda review

Cornelia Water Authority’s consideration of Lake Tallulah as a possible water source remains without a recorded resolution. On Oct. 22, 2024, the authority’s agenda called for exploring withdrawal options from the lake and working on a Georgia Environmental Protection Division surface-water withdrawal application and required reports, but the agenda does not say whether the authority approved that work or took any further action.
