At its August 2025 meeting, the Cornelia City Commission heard a report from the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce noting collections of $36,732.82, not including an additional $10,449.51 collected for May and June.
In the city manager's report for September 2025, officials said an artist is set to begin work around October 20 on a downtown mural at the Cornelia Pharmacy building, with the project being paid for by the Chamber of Commerce.
