Cornelia pedestrian bridge remains a proposal as city seeks funding

Cornelia’s proposed pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks remained in the funding-seeking stage in a September 2024 Downtown Development Authority update. The authority reported that the bridge had been proposed and that funding was being pursued, but the update did not identify a grant, local allocation, approval or completion date.
