Cornelia DDA puts basketball-tournament idea on hold over courts and venue costs

Cornelia’s Downtown Development Authority put a proposed basketball tournament on hold in April 2024 after members confronted a basic question: where the games could be played. The authority tabled the idea, presented on behalf of Jamie Keller, while it considers whether downtown has enough usable courts and whether renting a school gym would be too expensive.
