Cornelia’s Panhandling Vote Left Residents Without the Rules It Sought to Repost

Cornelia’s City Commission voted 3–0 on June 4, 2019, to repost Ordinance #05-19-02 after discussing aggressive and passive panhandling as a public-safety concern. The action put the ordinance back before the public, at least in principle, but the meeting record does not include the language residents, people seeking donations or businesses would have been expected to read.
