Frank Wolf originally proposed that Cornelia's Downtown Development Authority ask the city for $10,000 for its Operating account and $25,000 for its Façade account.
At its July meeting the DDA board instead agreed to request $25,000 for the Operating account and to rely on fundraising rather than a city budget line for the Façade account, and set a fundraising goal of $25,000 to start immediately.
A month later the board tabled a specific fundraising campaign proposal, agreeing to take August to consider it further and take it back up in September.
In September the board discussed fundraising options, including hosting a paid dinner at the community house and possibly hiring a fundraising consultant, without settling on an approach.
