The story
Cornelia's Downtown Development Authority/MainStreet board began planning the Big Red Apple Festival at its July meeting, discussing vendor placement, volunteers, live music and a 5k run partnered with First Baptist Church. The plan called for food vendors to stay on Clarkesville St while promotional and craft vendors moved into Donald Anderson Park.
By August, board member Noah had finished a layout for the festival and presented it to the board.
At the September meeting, Noah said he would need as many DDA board members and volunteers as possible to help with vendor setup in the park.
