Cornelia’s 2021 budget locks in $1 million sidewalk project and road resurfacing funds

Cornelia’s city commission voted 4-0 on Dec. 1, 2020, to adopt the city’s 2021 budget after a public hearing, putting into effect a spending plan that included $1 million for Level Grove Sidewalk Phase 2, $150,000 for the Alston Ridge Resurfacing Project and $65,000 for a utility-maintenance truck. Commissioner Dodd made the motion to adopt the budget as submitted, Commissioner Cook seconded it, and the four commissioners present approved it unanimously.
