The story
Clarkesville’s Mayor and City Council placed an item called the “Inframark Amendment 2 Agreement” on its Nov. 10, 2025 meeting agenda for discussion and a vote. The agenda establishes that council consideration was scheduled, but it does not show whether council members approved, rejected, delayed or otherwise acted on the agreement.
The unanswered vote matters because a contract amendment can alter the terms under which the city works with a service provider. Residents cannot tell from the agenda what Amendment 2 would change, what work it concerned, whether it carried a cost or what obligations it would place on the city or Inframark.
The documented public action is limited to the Nov. 10 agenda, which listed the agreement as a vote item rather than recording a completed decision. That distinction is consequential: scheduling a vote put the amendment before the council, but did not by itself make the revised agreement effective or authorize identifiable work under it.
City officials were the decision-makers identified by the agenda, which called for the Mayor and City Council to discuss and vote on approval of the agreement. Inframark is named in the item title as the other party, but the agenda provides no description of either side’s position, no proposed contract language and no explanation of the amendment’s purpose.
It is documented that the amendment was proposed for council consideration on Nov. 10. It is not documented here that the council passed it, voted it down or postponed it; nor is there a vote tally, executed agreement, price, scope of work or confirmed implementation record. Any claim that the amendment took effect or that work began under it would go beyond what the agenda establishes.
The next public step is to obtain the official minutes from the Nov. 10 council meeting, or another city record that states how the council handled the Inframark Amendment 2 Agreement. Until that record is identified, the central questions remain unsettled: the vote outcome, the agreement’s terms and cost, and whether it authorized any city work.

The meeting agenda identifies the Inframark Amendment 2 Agreement as an item for discussion and a vote, but does not record a result or explain the agreement.
