The story
In December 2025, the Clarkesville Mayor and City Council received an update on an impact fee study being done with Bill Ross and Associates. City staff member Mr. Dickerson was working with the firm to decide on the fees and what projects would be funded with the money collected.
The matter did not come up again in city records until April 2026, when the Mayor and Council discussed reopening conversations about developer impact fees during a work session.
