Clarkesville’s proposed retirement-plan restatement remains unresolved nearly two years after council agenda

Clarkesville City Council placed a proposed restatement of the city’s retired-benefit retirement plan on its Sept. 16, 2024 agenda, calling for discussion and approval of Resolution 2024-5 and a Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System adoption agreement covering 2023 through 2025. Nearly two years later, that agenda remains evidence that the matter reached the council’s docket, but it does not show whether the council approved the documents, altered them or declined to act.
