Carnesville approves park bridge-deck work and splashpad-area swings, but timeline remains unclear

Carnesville City Council unanimously accepted Gibson Contracting Services LLC’s quote to replace decking on a bridge at the city park during a called meeting March 25, 2025. In a separate action at that meeting, the council unanimously approved about $25,000 in SPLOST funding for a shaded three-bay, six-swing set in the park’s splashpad area. The minutes do not say when the bridge work or swing-set installation would begin, or whether either has been completed.
