A public hearing was held May 27 with no public comment, and the council tabled the second reading 3-0-1.
On June 9, the council again tabled the second reading, 3-0, pushing it to the June 26 meeting.
At the June 26 meeting, the developer notified officials it was withdrawing the variance request and would instead move the water line into the dedicated utility easement as originally designed. No vote was taken.
